What I made
I made a chemical eruption experiment using baking soda and vinagar. It creates a colored foaming eruption due to chemical reation.

Why I made it
I chose this project because I have always been curious about why liquids like tea boil over and come out of the pan. Although this experiment works differently, it also shows how gas can make foam rise and overflow. It helped me understand the science behind this type of eruption.

What I learned
Before this experiment, I thought eruptions only happened in volcanoes or large science demonstrations. After performing it, I learned that a simple reaction between everyday household materials can also create an eruption. It made chemistry feel practical, interesting, and easy to understand.

Materials & Components

Before beginning, gather the following materials: * A tall, narrow plastic bottle or drinking glass * ½ cup of white vinegar * 2 tablespoons of baking soda * One squirt of dishwashing liquid * A few drops of food colouring * A baking tray or large dish to catch the overflow * Safety glasses and an apron, if available

How to Make It

Sab se pehle ek glass ko baking tray ya kisi bhi bade container ke andar rakh dein taake bahar nikalne wali foam idhar udhar na phailay.

Ab glass mein ek squirt ya thori si liquid dishwashing soap daalein.

Us ke baad glass mein 1/2 cup white vinegar daal dein.

Ab is mein thora sa food colour daalein. (Ye optional hai.)

Ab spoon ki madad se mixture ko halkay se stir karein taake sab cheezen achi tarah mix ho jayein.

Ab ek hi baar mein 2 tablespoons baking soda daal dein. Isay ahista ahista add na karein, kyun ke is se carbon dioxide gas slow banti hai aur eruption utni jldi nahi hoti.

Jese hi baking soda add hoga, vinegar aur baking soda ke darmiyan chemical reaction shuru ho jayega aur colourful foam ki eruption bahir niklna shuru ho jayegi.
