Today, I worked as a volunteer. First, I helped the children cut plastic bottles. Then, I made a hole in the bottle cap and passed a thread through it. After that, I filled the bottle with water and sealed it with tape. I added soil to the upper part of the bottle and planted mustard seeds in it. This activity helped the children learn about growing plants in a simple and creative way.
Today, I first made the LED connections on a breadboard. Then, I transferred the circuit to a vero board and soldered the components. It was my first time doing soldering, and I really enjoyed the experience.
I am a student. Today, I learned how to use Arduino. First, I made all the connections on a breadboard and then connected it to the Arduino. I really enjoyed working with it and had a lot of fun learning. The Arduino board I used was the Arduino Uno.
The next day, we learned about an Arduino and how it works. We connected it to a breadboard and explored its basic functions. We also did simple coding, such as making an LED blink.
During the Teen Boot Camp, all of us students learned how to make connections on a breadboard. After that, we practiced making connections on a vero board (perfboard) as well, and we also learned soldering. On this day, we learned an important lesson: if something we make does not work properly, we should not get angry. Instead, we should try to improve it and build it in a better way using a new approach.
During the Teen Boot Camp, I made a beautiful photo frame. First, I created a plan for the frame and measured all the dimensions carefully. Then, I cut the pieces according to the measurements and trimmed the corners at a 45-degree angle for a neat finish. After that, I attached the frame pieces to cardboard using double-sided tape. I designed the photo frame so that it can either be hung on a wall or placed upright on a table with the help of a stand. The project helped me improve my measuring, cutting, and crafting skills.

Hello everyone! My name is Fatima and I am from Rawalpindi, Pakistan. I joined PSC because I want to support meaningful causes, help people in need, and contribute positively to my community through volunteering. My hobbies include creative editing and exploring new ways to express ideas through design and digital content. I am a creative person who enjoys learning new skills and working on projects that make a difference. A fun fact about me is that I love turning simple ideas into creative edits and designs. I am excited to be part of PSC and look forward to learning, growing, and making a positive impact with the community.
My Experience at the Pakistan Science Club Summer Camp
I participated in the second week of the summer camp organized by Pakistan Science Club, and it was an exciting and memorable learning experience.
On the first day, I built a simple electrical circuit and learned the difference between series and parallel circuits. I also explored the LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) module, how it works, and how it can be used in electronic projects to detect light levels and automate devices.
During the second and third days, I worked on building a robot. Using an LDR module and a motor driver module, I assembled and tested a robot that could respond to changes in light. One of the most exciting parts of the project was successfully building and operating the robot without any coding or programming. Seeing the robot work correctly after testing and adjustments gave me a great sense of achievement.
The summer camp helped me learn many new concepts in science, electronics, and robotics. It also improved my problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to work as part of a team. I enjoyed the hands-on activities, the opportunity to build real projects, and the chance to meet new friends who share similar interests.
Overall, my experience at the Pakistan Science Club Summer Camp was outstanding. I gained valuable knowledge, developed practical skills, and enjoyed every activity. It was a rewarding experience that inspired me to learn even more about science and technology in the future.

I,Zohaa Imran from chashma, mianwali enrolled as PSC volunteer as i have got to know that this science club will give me exposure and provide a life to my intrests involving research on science projects and give me real life knowledge to imply on futher. I have been intrested in projects and research operations that include reading articles about science facts and learning how everything around is just full of science. Other than that i have participated in science olympiads to do more research and I have represented my instuition at various contests and gained skill of public speaking beside writing content. And the fact about myself would be probably i like to write almost everything as in journaling and whenever i do something good or come back from a trip i usually write it on like a story.
